This feature is enhanced if you opt for a Unity MARS subscription.

The Unity AR Companion also boasts AR Scene Editing tools, which permit the direct import and layout of content and assets on your device. You can create image-based markers, add hotspots, and preview in-Editor game objects right on your device, streamlining the creative process. Moreover, you have the ability to import 3D-scanned inventory, inspect it on your target mobile platform, and set placement constraints for your digital objects to ensure they behave as expected in their virtual space.

To facilitate a smooth workflow, a Store and Sync function is included. This feature allows you to synchronize in-Editor assets with the cloud, instantly reflecting changes on your device. It comes bundled with 1 GiB of cloud storage through your Unity Connect account and an additional 10 GiB of storage for each Unity MARS subscription seat.

Although this app works hand in hand with the Unity MARS authoring environment, it's noteworthy that a subscription to Unity MARS is not required, although current functionality may be limited without it.
